Composition:   epoxy-zinc-rich-primer

 epoxy resin, organic solvent, thick film additive, zinc powder.

Characteristic: epoxy-zinc-rich-primer

 This paint enjoys is anticorrosion and enjoys excellent mechanical property, adhesion, conductivity and protective effect of cathode. The thickness of the film is more than 75um. It can be used as workshop primer. When you weld something the thickness of the film is between 15-25um. This paint is also used as antirust primer.

Use: It is mainly applied to the bridge, ship, offshore drilling platform, harbour equipment and all materials after sand blasting.

1. Metal treatment: The rust on the surface of the steel should be removed after sand blasting or shot peening. It should reach the SIS SA2.5&2.5 level. There should be no sand, iron shot or footprint on the surface of the steel.

2. Printing: Spraying, brush-Painting and roller-coating are all allowed. Spraying is prefered. It is no need diluting when brushpainting. When spraying the dilunet of 5-20% should be added to paint. The viscosity is decided by the user. The thickness of the dry film should be 45um. When using with chlorinated rubber, it is better to paint 2 layers. The thickness of each layer is between 20-30um.

3.  proportion: This paint consist of 2 cans.(composition1:composition2=10 1,The proportion should be strictly obeyed. The paint can be used in half an hour after stiring in the temperature of 20-25. In order to avoid the precipitation of zinc powder the paint should be stirred during the construction. 

4. Attention: The using time of the paint is 8 hours. After 8 hours the paint become thick untile it becomes blue. The interval of the painting is at least 4 hours. Half a year is prefered. Usually one layer is painted everyday.

5. Matching: This paint can be used with epoxy-asphalt-paint, epoxy-antirust-paint, epoxy-micaceous-iron-intermediate-coat-paint, oxidation-rubber-paint and chlorosulfonated-polyethylene paint.
